Hints tips and Insparation
Hi all i did this quick video just to act as inspiration this is what we all should be doing looking after our bodies and stop felling
overweight and feeling down.
Knowing how to look confident can help you feel it, too. Here’s how to give out the right signals and feel and look
confident.
The good news is that, even when you’re tense or uneasy, you can use non-verbal communication to change the way you and others
feel about yourself. Adopting a posture and a smile that says ” I am relaxed and confident” sends positive signals even when your shaking inside its called emotional contagion and it works because our inner feelings are so linked to our bodily senses. Change the signals your body sends, and not only will you appear more self assured, you’ll actually feel more confident, too.
Dont let your body language get lost in translation make your body language more open. That means uncrossing arms and legs so that you appear less defensive squareing your shoulders rather than slumping them raising your chin and smiling transform yourself from timid to take me seriously simply by standing tall and making eye contact you will feel so much better with who ever you meet and can deal with any situation.
Quick Tip…
A smile is a good starter it will trick
your brain into thinking you feel great.
And so will relax your body and other
people will pick up on it too.
Healthy Eating at a Restaurant: Is it Possible?
If you and your family love to eat at restaurants, you may think that this lifestyle is not good for a healthy diet.
In many cases, you wo
uld be correct. However, you can still enjoy restaurants occasionally and maintain your healthy diet.
It’s all about making good food choices, which starts with learning about the nutrition that you need
to stay happy, physically healthy, mentally stable and active.
When you pick up the menu, start by skipping over the drinks section. Although you may be tempted to
enjoy a beer or mixed beverage with your dinner, these usually have many empty calories, which are
not good for your body. The exception to this rule when it comes to alcohol is wine, especially
red wine, which can be fine if you have a single glass and it can actually help prevent heart disease for some patients.
Also skip over the appetizer menu, unless it’s to order a side salad. The appetizers at restaurants usually
contain high-fat foods that are not meant to fill you up but in fact may make you crave even more high fat foods.
Examples of these are mozzarella sticks, potato skins and wings. Instead, simply focus on your main course
or, if you must indulge, share a single serving with the entire table of people.
When choosing your main dish, it is of course important that you look at the ingredients in the dish.
Anything with cream sauces or high-fat meats should be avoided and don’t order the
potatoes or onion rings. Instead order side dishes like vegetables or ask for just the main
course whenever possible.
You must remember the importance of correct portion size. Sometimes restaurant portion sizes are excessive.
If you can, order from the set menu and ask for a take away bag straight away.
At the end of your meal, skip the desert menu, just like you did with the appetizers.
Again, you can share a single desert with someone if you feel compelled to order something,
or split your portion in half. Many fancy desserts in restaurants have more calories than your entire meal,
so keep this in mind before you flag down the waitress to put in an order. Of course, on special occasions,
it’s alright to cheat a little, but overall eating healthily requires a lot of resistance to the temptations that surround you.
